Form Punches and Die Buttons
Dayton Progress is now offering a full line of "standard" form punches and die buttons that deliver a wide range of piercing and extruding applications. These 37 new point configurations are available on all Dayton Progress round punches - Versatile, Kommercial, Ball Lock, TuffPunch®, and VersaPlus®.
DAYSet High-Precision Compound Die Tooling
Dayton DAYSet Compound Tooling offers you a complete system (punches, stripper, die button, knockout, compound) for producing high-quality, cost-effective stampings. Instead of using progressive dies, the DAYSet method allows you to complete multiple stamping operations in a single step. The DAYSet system, based on the "Hovis Die" principle, is an improved design that gives you maximum end-product consistency and precision. Standard components can be ordered in sets or separately; individual tools can be made to spec.
CUMSA Marking Units
The CUMSA Marking Unit from Dayton Progress features easy to read numbers to mark parts with date, part number, lot number or other numerical identifiers.
Urethane Stripping & Forming Products
Closed End Urethane Strippers assure positive stripping and at the same time dampen punch vibration by gripping around the punch point. Since vibration can lead to premature punch failure, using DAYTON PROGRESS Urethane Strippers will increase overall punch life. The closed end feature holds thin stock flat during the stripping cycle, eliminating the problem of damaging the stock strip.
