TECH TIP #6:
Setup tweak for AutoCAD 2004

PROGRAM: Dayton on Disk 2000
OS: Windows
CAD SOFTWARE: AutoCAD2004+
PROBLEM: Dayton on Disk 2000 does not automatically install in ACAD2004.

Procedure:

1. Install Dayton On Disk 2000
   
2. The install will fail to recognize ACAD2004. Click YES
   
   
   
3. Click OK
   
   
   
4. Click the icon for install
   
   
   
5. Wait for the file install…
   
   
   
6. Click YES to Keep Existing File(s)
   
   
   
7. Click OK when completely setup
   
   
   
8. Click OK to acknowledge
   
   
   
9. Open AutoCAD
   Add Dayton On Disk Path
   Tools->Options-> {Files Tab}
   Click Add, Browse, and select "c:\program files\daytonOnDisk2000"
   Click OK
   
   
   
10. At the ACAD Command Prompt, Type MENULOAD <ENTER>
    Select c:\Program Files\DaytonOnDisk\dayton_LOM.MNS, then Click OPEN
    
    
    
11. Click LOAD
    
    
    
12. Click Close
    
    
    
13. The Dayton Toolbar should now be visible and usable.
